Hey everyone, I hope that you are well and enjoying the start to your week! Whilst I am usually terrible at posting updates on here, I thought I would spill the beans on my latest venture - I am so very excited to announce that a new wellbeing-focussed podcast will be making it's way into your headphones in the not-so-distant future!
This podcast is something that I have been daydreaming about for quite some time now, and thanks to my great friend and producer Jack, as well as the lovely folks over at BWorks on Market St, we are soon to be up and running with a regular show - 'Dial Emma' (see what I did there?!). Podcasting feels to me such a natural way to create, seeing as it involves one of my well developed skill sets... chatting! I am a big fan of lots of podcasts out there - maybe I should do post some of my faves in a separate blog? - purely for their power to brighten my day, make me laugh and shed light on the situations and challenges that we probably all face in life, and that's exactly what we are aiming for with DE.
This new pod will be focussed mainly on emotional and physical wellbeing - but you can expect there to be a few tangents and some very slight waffling... oops! - particularly related to work and daily life, providing fascinating insights on a vast range of topics and giving platforms to wonderful guests who reflect on their valuable life experience to help relate to our listeners and the topics covered in each episode!
One thing that makes the idea of DE stand out for me is that each episode will based on questions and requests from listeners and members of the local and/or global community - hence the play on words between Dial Emma and Dilemma.... - as I really wanted to give people a chance to voice what has been on their minds, and to hear about topics that really interest them! And as the saying goes, we are all more similar than we are different. So, here's where you come into it! I would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions from our upcoming episodes, so do make sure to get in touch either via this blog or our social media - @dialempod (Instagram and Twitter), or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - Make sure you let us know who you are and where you're from to be featured on the podcast, and we will let you know which episode to listen out for your contribution!
We would particularly love it if you sent us a topic request, a question or 'problem' that you would like to hear discussed on the pod - either related to your general or workplace wellbeing or otherwise - so feel free to get in touch via the details above OR, and here comes the cool part,

Well, that's all from me for now! I really hope you enjoy listening, and details of the first episode's release will follow very soon. Thank you for taking the time to read, I wish you a happy rest of your day whatever you are up to!
